Key considerations in Everyday Essentials
The restock list: paper goods, batteries, bin liners and detergent. These are bought on repeat, so a single careful comparison keeps paying off. We read pack sizes and counts closely, because the same product is often described in different units across listings.
What to check on the listing
- The unit the listing counts in — sheets, rolls, double rolls, litres or cells — converted to something comparable.
- Total count or volume, stated plainly, rather than the pack description alone.
- Whether the format is single-use or refillable, and whether it is scented or unscented.
- Bulk suitability: shelf life and storage footprint for the size on offer.
Before you order
- Compare paper towels on sheet count and sheet size, not on the number of rolls.
- Match bin liners to the litre rating of your bin, then check drawstring versus flap-tie.
- Alkaline cells are single-use and are not a substitute for rechargeables; check the cell size and count together.
- Scented and unscented variants often share one listing — confirm the selected variant before ordering.
