I've actually seen this movie quite a few times. I decided to watch this movie again when I couldn't get the jingle from within the movie out of my head. It got to a point where it bothered me but since I had not reviewed it yet, I figured it couldn't hurt to watch it again.

That jingle is 'You are my buddy, my only friend. Not just a buddy but my friend,' or something to that effect. I know it's very similar to that.

As far as my opinion towards this movie, it's great for anyone who loves horror movies including those who are fans of gory and bloody scenes, (I know I am.) This movie really had some good points. I appreciated the fact that it lived up to its promise in terms of being graphic and bloody in nature. The action and violence within this movie were well worth it not to mention the manner of how some of the murders were executed.

However, this is one of those movies where my overall opinion has changed drastically from the first time I saw it until now. When this movie was first released, there was nothing scary or bothersome about it. It was just another great movie to watch. One that I knew I would enjoy as I had grown into a fan of horror movies to an extent.

After watching this movie again though, it appears that some of the scenes are ones that I cannot handle anymore as they tend to get a little scare out of me. Also, despite watching this movie again to try and get that jingle out of my head, I'm still hearing it inside my head even as I write this.

I see the doll staring at me while singing that jingle and I'm not going to lie. I do feel a little uneasy. I mean I know it's just a movie and this is not to say that I'm as scared as any child should be. I'm just at a point in my life where I get scared easily by dolls that sing that jingle.

I've actually seen much worse and the more I think about it, it may be my age catching up to me. I'm in my mid 30's right now and maybe I'm slowly pulling away from being a fan of things that are aimed at the teenage demographic.

Having said that, I don't think I'm quite at the point where mom is yet. I can still handle the horror genre to a point where she has never been able to at least for as long as I can remember.

For what it's worth, I did enjoy most of this movie. There's just a couple of scenes I could have done without if I'm being honest. Of course, one of those scenes is any one which that jingle is played and I cannot get rid of the image of the doll itself.

Though this movie was really well done, unfortunately the scene I've been discussing throughout this review along with the look of the evil doll itself will result in a significant drop as it pertains to my final score of this movie.

It still won't completely fail but unless they redo this movie again and erase that jingle while changing the overall look of the doll, it won't completely pass either. To my knowledge, this cannot be done as you cannot change what millions of people have already seen but even if you could, I don't think I can ever get rid of that image in my head as well as that jingle so therefore my decision is final.

This movie will forever be a great movie but one that could have been better.
