Jefferson Bert’s personal author message
In my personal opinion, there’s a lot to be admired as far as this film is concerned. I’ve always been a fan of Jack Black. For about 23 years of my life, any movie he is in that is a comedy gets an immediate pass if he is in it. The reason I say that I’ve been a fan of his for 23 years is because the first movie I saw him in was “School Of Rock,” and I’ve been a fan of his work ever since.
Having said that, he is not the only reason that this movie gets a pass. I also believe that this movie is a great one for the holidays, as it incorporates that holiday feel that other movies do not have. There are obviously elements of Christmas, as this is a Christmas movie. However, there is also a Halloween aspect to this movie as well, since Jack Black played the devil and he was able to appear out of nowhere and had special powers.
Watching this movie gave me the knowledge that the holidays are just around the corner and that it’s not just a normal time of year. I feel like anyone who is looking to kick off the holidays right should watch this film. It’s one of these movies that has no faults to it at all, and Jack Black’s casting plays a major part in what makes this film great! I can promise that there will be plenty more holiday movies to come in the next few days. I love this movie about as much as I love this time of year. I definitely give this movie two thumbs up!

Even though I’m aware that the purpose of writing these reviews is to give a detailed description of the movies I watch, I have a little problem with this one. You see, to be able to review a certain movie, I have to at least have an idea of what the movie is about or know what it’s about in general.
