This comedy follows a man who attempts to make it home for Thanksgiving with his family following an out-of-town work meeting only to face many obstacles along the way including flight delays, bad weather and poor customer service. He soon finds that everything he must deal with pales in comparison to the most annoying aspect of his trip, a fellow passenger who succeeds in doing everything but being quiet. When the two men cross paths due to coincidence throughout the journey, he'll soon find that getting home for Thanksgiving is only half the battle.

This is a movie I've seen so many times before that I actually think it was a waste for me to rent. Also, I remember initially doing a review for this movie during my first run of movie reviews. Therefore, I don't have much to say in regards to this movie. I actually regretted renting this movie only after I rented it since there were so many others for which I have not done a review to this point. The problem was that I was so tired last night that I picked this one initially because the review had already been done for it. Having said that, I scraped every last word I could muster up out of the need to review every single movie, no matter how many times I have seen it. I realized that I made a commitment to reviewing every single movie. With that being said, this is the second movie that I've done two reviews for, (the first movie was "Buddy,") but I suppose it just goes to show how great John Candy was. His movies are so good that some of them are deserving of more than one review. Also, I want to try to give each of my favorite actors their own section on the site where their movies are reviewed. John Candy is one of those actors and this is one of those movies. Therefore, despite the waste, it wasn't so bad after all. It was good enough for me to say I watched a movie and did a review where I wouldn't have done one otherwise since I was so tired. Not much has changed in terms of my opinion on this movie from the first one until now. This includes the final score of this movie. It was just an all-around good movie.
