This comedy follows a down-on-his-luck man who is invited to move in with his newly married best friend and wife after he loses his job for attending the wedding without the knowledge of his boss, even though he served as the groom’s best man. Jeff’s take
This is one of the few movies I’ve seen where the trailer actually delivers on its promise for the movie to be as good as the trailer indicates. To me, it is a very common trope seen both in movies and in real life for one friend to help out the other in their time of need, only to regret it sometimes when the antics of the friend in need start to drive their friends crazy.
This made for a great movie from start to finish, and it would definitely be recommended.

Jefferson Bert’s personal author message
Like many other movies I’ve done reviews on, this one has very few faults. One thing I’m really impressed with is the acting of Owen Wilson. It was just recently that I became a fan of his due to his performance in the movie “The Runner,” as I felt he played his role in that film to perfection.
Personally, I couldn’t wait to find another movie that he acted in, as I wanted to see if he could equal his perfect performance in it and maybe even do better than he did in that film. Well, it turns out that this movie made me love him even more, and he is now one of my favorite actors.
To show how fast he has proved himself to me, even as recently as a month ago, he was just another actor who I could take or leave. This just goes to show how some people need to be given the chance to prove themselves. In his case, he had to prove that he could rank among my list of favorite actors. He managed to really impress me with just two of his movies, and if I’m being completely honest, I can’t wait to find another movie that he is in because I know he will not disappoint in terms of his acting ability.
I’m on the verge of starting full weeks of movies dedicated to my favorite actors. I have some of my other favorite actors in mind, such as Adam Sandler, Jack Black, Steve Martin, etc. If I can find up to five movies containing a certain actor, whatever one I aspire to review for that week, then that actor will then have a week dedicated to them where I only watch movies that they are featured in.
I would love to have a week dedicated to Owen Wilson, but the problem is that most of his movies are difficult for me to view as they are not available on streaming services. This will not stop me from looking, though, and I do have a couple of his movies in mind, but I have not yet come up with a list of five movies yet which he stars in.
I will say that his comedy within this movie made it one of my all-time favorites that I would definitely watch again if given the chance. In my mind, this movie was a great one, and Owen Wilson is the main reason for how much of a blockbuster this is. This movie is a complete pass!
Also, I do want to mention that while most of the credit goes to Owen Wilson, another good character in the movie is Matt Dillon’s wife. While I would prefer to never have another girlfriend, if I did have one, I would want her to be just like his wife was. Of course, this would be a person with a lot of money who I believe was the right choice to star alongside Owen Wilson in this comedy with almost no negative points. To make it simple, I thoroughly enjoyed this film and I would definitely recommend it!
